【摘要】:Recycledplasticmaterialsmaycontainincompatibleplasticorotherundesirablecontaminantsthatcouldaffecttheprocessingorquality,orboth,oftheplasticpreparedforreuse.Techniquestoseparateandidentifyincompatibleplastics,moisture,chemicals,ororiginalproductresidues,andsolidcontaminantssuchasmetals,paper,glass,andwoodareessentialtotheprocessingofrecycledplasticmaterials.ThisguidelistsexistingASTMandISOmethodspluscurrentlypracticedindustrialtechniquesforidentificationandclassificationofcontaminantsinrecycledplasticsflakeorpellets.1.1Thisguideisintendedtoprovideinformationonavailablemethodsfortheseparationandclassificationofcontaminantssuchasmoisture,incompatiblepolymers,metals,adhesives,glass,paper,wood,chemicals,andoriginal-productresiduesinrecycledplasticflakesorpellets.Althoughnospecificmethodsforidentificationorcharacterizationoffoamproductsareincluded,foamproductsarenotexcludedfromthisguide.Themethodspresentedapplytopost-consumerplastics.1.2ForspecificproceduresexistingasASTMtestmethods,thisguideonlyliststheappropriatereference.WherenocurrentASTMstandardexists,however,thisguidegivesproceduresfortheseparationoridentification,orboth,ofspecificcontaminants.AppendixX1liststhetestsandthespecificcontaminantaddressedbyeachprocedure.1.3ThisguidedoesnotincludeprocedurestoquantifythecontaminantsunlessthisinformationisavailableinreferencedASTMstandards.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.
