【摘要】:Themethodsformanufacture(proprietaryorotherwise)ofthesematerialsvarysignificantlyamongsuppliers,andthesemethodsinfluencesuchpropertiesasarcerosion,contactresistance,andtendencytoweldinservice.Sincetheperformanceofcontactsinadevicedependsonnumerousfactorsoutsidethecontactitself(openingspeed,closingspeed,contactpressure,contactbounce,environmentalvariations,assemblytechniqueandvariations,etc.)thisguidecannotensureperformancecontrolintheapplication.Aspartofthequalificationoninitialsamplesitisrecommendedthattheuserelectricallytestthematerialsinafunctionalmannerforalldevicesapplicabletothematerial''suse.Thisguidewillprovideameansforthecontactmanufacturerandcontactusertoreachagreementonthedetailsofmaterialtobesuppliedforaspecificuseandhowtoprovidereasonableassurancethatfuturelotswillbesimilarinpropertiesandmicrostructuretotheinitialtestofsamplecontactssupplied.1.1Thisstandardprovidesguidelinesforusersandmanufacturersofsilver-tinoxidematerialproducedinstrip,rod,wire,andpartformforelectricalcontactapplications.1.2Silver-tinoxidereferstocontactmaterialcontainingsilver,tinoxide,andothermetaloxidewhichmaybeusedforeitherimprovingtheprocessingorperformanceofthematerial.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.ItistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtobecomefamiliarwithallhazardsincludingthoseidentifiedintheappropriateMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)forthisproduct/materialasprovidedbythemanufacturer,toestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpractices,anddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
